Refund Policy

ChatYub operates on a credit-based, fully automated system. This Refund Policy explains when credits or payments may be refunded.
1. General Policy
All credit pack purchases are generally final and non-refundable once credits have been delivered to your account.
Credits are digital goods delivered instantly upon successful Stripe payment. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge immediate delivery.
Welcome credits (10 credits on first sign-in) are promotional and have no cash value.
2. Automatic Credit Refunds
If an AI generation fails due to a platform or API error, credits are automatically refunded to your account. No manual request is needed.
Failed generations are logged in your Account page with a "failed" status. Refunded credits appear as a refund transaction in your history.
Partial refunds may apply when estimated credit charges exceed actual usage (e.g., text generation using fewer tokens than estimated).
3. Eligible Payment Refunds
Duplicate charges: If you were charged twice for the same credit pack due to a payment processing error, contact us within 14 days for a full refund of the duplicate charge.
Non-delivery: If payment succeeded but credits were not added to your account within 24 hours, contact us with your Stripe receipt. We will either deliver the credits or issue a full refund.
Unauthorized charges: If you believe a charge was made without your authorization, contact us immediately and dispute the charge with your bank or Stripe.
4. Non-Refundable Cases
Credits that have been successfully used for AI generation are non-refundable.
Dissatisfaction with AI output quality, style, or accuracy is not grounds for a refund. AI outputs vary and are not guaranteed.
Account suspension or termination due to Terms of Service violations forfeits remaining credits without refund.
Promotional or bonus credits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Change of mind after credits have been delivered to your account.
5. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback without first contacting us, your account may be suspended pending investigation.
We reserve the right to dispute fraudulent chargebacks and provide Stripe with usage logs and delivery confirmation.
Accounts with confirmed fraudulent chargebacks will be permanently banned.
6. How to Request a Refund
Email support@chatyub.com with your account email, transaction date, Stripe payment ID, and reason for the request.
We respond to refund requests within 3 business days.
Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method via Stripe within 5–10 business days.
7. Credit Expiration
Purchased credits never expire. You may use them at any time while your account remains active.
If we discontinue the service, we will provide at least 30 days notice and offer a pro-rata refund or credit usage window for unused purchased credits.
